Prep for Permanent Make-Up
Day of:
Visit an ATM and get cash for the remaining balance of your service. (I am CASH ONLY outside of deposits.)
Have your ID ready for check-in.
Eat a good meal before coming to your appointment. Do not come in with an empty stomach.
Take a shower and wash your face.
DO NOT apply makeup.
DO NOT wear your contacts.
DO NOT workout.
24 hours before:
DO NOT drink alcohol.
DO NOT consume coffee or any caffeine.
DO NOT take aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief.
All of the above will thin your blood and make you bleed more during the procedure. Bleeding too much can lead to difficulties in pigment retention.
1 Week before:
EYELINER: Make sure to have artificial lashes removed.
BROWS: DO NOT pick/tweeze/wax/thread/tint/perform electrolysis.
DO NOT take Fish Oil or Vitamin E (natural blood thinners).
3-4 weeks before and after:
DO NOT get Botox.
DO NOT get a chemical peel. This will make your skin too new and thin.
DO NOT use Retin-A, Retinol, and AHA.
DO NOT tan. Limit sun exposure, use sunscreen, and avoid getting sunburnt.
